Happy Birthday!
Since this is a celebration of most of our classmates' 71st birthdays in 2024, we'll be able to enjoy a slice of Birthday Cake. Unfortunately, local fire codes prohibit 71 candles on the cake. Too bad.

Closest-to-the-Pin Competition
The LGC has two indoor Trackman Simulators. If you're not familiar with golf simulators, you hit golf shots into a screen with a video projection of a world-famous green that we can select. We can also determine the yardage so that even non-golfers have a chance to hit the green. The software in the simulator will measure your ball's distance to the hole. Each competitor will be given three shots. Their closest ball to the hole will be recorded by the impartial referees. Prizes will be awarded to the competitors with the three balls closest to the pin. However, side-bets and talking smack between golfers are encouraged. Women's and men's golf clubs will be provided.
Photographs
Friend of the Class of 1971, Rich Voorhees, will take the group photo, individual classmate photos, and candid shots. His best shots will be uploaded to the Photo Albums on the website. However, classmates are encouraged to take their own photos and upload them to the website.
Outdoor Activities
Given that it's likely to be a hot August night, there will be some outdoor seating, picnic tables, bags (e.g. corn-hole), and a fire pit. Skinny-dipping in the Wabash off Potawatomi Point is at your own risk. There won't be a life guard on duty. Golf cart demo derby was vetoed.
Music
A local DJ, 10-70 Entertainment, will provide music for your dining, dancing, and listening pleasure. We're committed to keeping the volume down to allow normal conversation.
Accessibility at the LGC
The LGC has undergone extensive renovations since we were at LHS. As you can see in the pictures below, access to the venue has no steps, making it wheel-chair accessible. All of the rooms are on the same floor. The rest rooms are ADA-compliant.
