He had also been a realtor with Brokerage House, as well as, Galloway, Murray & Scheetz.

He worshipped God and adored his wife, and was very proud of his son and grandsons. Sharing his faith was very important to Ed.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother and sister-in-law, William Maus and Susan Johnson; and nephew, Michael Lee Sechen.

I had the honor and privilege to be married to Ed for 26 years. I wish we would be able to attend this 50th reunion as he had talked about it coming up for several years. He was a great man and I miss him every single day. I know he would want to wish all his classmates a fun time at the reunion and drink a toast to his memory.

Ed and I grew up in Sunday school together at the Logansport Church of the Brethren. We lost contact during his many years in police work. In later years he became a pastor. His church at Pipe Creek came to sing Christmas carols to my mother and other residents at Timbercrest Retirement Community in North Manchester. It was great to reconnect with him during that time. Memories were made in those childhood Christmas plays and in our youth group.
