Jeffrey "Jeff" Ream, Logansport, died at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.. Born June 10, 1952, in Knox, he was the son of Norman and the late Carolyn (Dollahan) Ream. On July 2, 1983, he married Carolyn Shepler Benn, who survives. Jeff was a 1971 Logansport High School graduate. He was formerly employed at Kauffman Engineering and had also worked construction for many years. Jeff was an avid Nascar fan and collector. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ream of Logansport; son, Jason Landis of California; stepsons, David Benn and wife, Mendy, Devon Benn and Dana Benn and wife, Jessica, all of Logansport; daughters, Natasha Costello of Logansport and Angie Lewis of Arizona; brothers, Dennis Ream and wife, Tanya of Royal Center, Kenneth Ream of Burnettsville, Tom Clifton and wife, Tammy of South Bend, Tim Clifton of Michigan and Todd Clifton of North Liberty; sisters, Cindy Inmon of Texas, Barbara Korreckt and husband, Vic of Lincoln, Lori Anderson of New Orleans, Etta Conrad, Mary Anderson, Kimberly Hughes and husband, Dave, and also Laura Forgey and husband, Mike, all of Logansport; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his recliner companion dogs, Charlie and Paco, and his porch companions and liars club, Jerry, Vern and Rick.. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Beverly Johnson Ream. Burial was at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
