Cindie E. Wood Tuttle, Walton, went home to be with her Lord at 4:20 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo.. She was born Feb. 4, 1953, in El Paso, Texas, to John H. Wood and Rheta Snyder Todd. On Oct. 18, 1974, in Logansport, she married Richard E. Tuttle. Cindy was a homemaker, member of La Leche League and member of Cornerstone Community Bible Church and bible study.. She loved sewing and was an avid seamstress.. Cindy is survived by her husband, Richard Tuttle, Walton; five daughters, Joanna (Gary) Malott, Peru, Jennifer (David) McIntosh, Bryan, Texas, Abrah (Joshua) Johnson, Walton, Chelsea (Christopher) Corwin, East Peoria, Ill., and Micah (Caleb) Bruner, Walton; two sons, Ryan Tuttle and fiancée, Kelsey Brown, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Woody Tuttle and fiancée, Megan Ayres, Walton; nine grandchildren, Meghann, Taylor, Riley, Rease, Myles, Kellen, Liam, Garrison, and Jude; one brother, Michael J. Wood, Hamden, Conn.; and one sister, Sarah J. Wood, Martinsville. Her stepmother who raised her, Joanne Wood Timmons, also survives.. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Wood; and two brothers, Bob and Kelly Todd. Burial was in Galveston Cemetery.
